Between August 2nd and 8th, 1963, Francesco Berti filmed a mountaineering trip on the Tribolazione Glacier, near Cogne, in Valnontey (Aosta), documenting the arrival at the Carlo Pol Bivouac, at 3,179 meters of altitude. The camera follows two men as they approach the barrel-shaped bivouac, open the door, and enter. A close-up shows the identification plaque of the hut, while subsequent panoramic shots reveal the snow-covered peaks and surrounding glaciers.
