In 1967, amateur filmmaker Danilo Dominici captures a holiday in Calabria, filming his wife near Lake Ampollino, amid meadows and reflective waters in the tranquil Sila landscape. The footage alternates between portraits, panoramic shots of the surroundings, and moments where the couple passes the camera to each other, sharing their presence in the Calabrian mountains. Lake Ampollino, at 1,279 meters above sea level, is nestled in the heart of the Sila National Park, surrounded by the Scorciavuoi, Gariglione, Zingomarro, and Nero mountains.
