In the summer of 1959, Sante Rudatis filmed a trip onto the snows of the Marmolada. The sequence takes us among rocks and ice, where old chairlifts and vintage systems transport hikers towards the wide plateau of the glacier. The images capture moments of walking on the ice, playing in the snow, and taking breaks among the majestic Dolomitic peaks, all wearing typical high-mountain attire.
