Giorgio Greci and his classmates from the Romagnosi High School in Parma created this silent noir film set in the city’s streets, titled “K-14 Segreto militare.” In this scene—an homage to a recurring trope in genre cinema—a police inspector is on the trail of a wanted man, moving from bar to bar with a mugshot in hand. Decades later, this sequence offers us a panoramic glimpse of all the main bars along Via Garibaldi in Parma in the mid-1950s.
