Super8 - HMSCOGANT-0013
In 1981, Antonio Scognamiglio filmed a route through the mountains and nuraghes of central Sardinia. The first shots show rocky reliefs covered with Mediterranean scrub, with road signs confirming the eastern coast area, in the Province of Nuoro. The camera moves to panoramic views of the calcareous-dolomitic massifs of the Supramonte, with visible paths on the slopes and deep valleys between the mountains. The central part is dedicated to the Nuraghe Losa, in Abbasanta, in the Province of Oristano, filmed in its main structures. The final sequence shows an inland plain with low vegetation and distant mountains on the horizon, offering a panorama of the natural landscape and the archaeological heritage of Sardinia.
