The sequence shows an excursion near the S’Istrampu ’e Massabari waterfall, in the territory of Cuglieri, filmed by Attilio Mastino in 1968. The first images focus on the water and the rocks of the waterfall, with jets, splashes, and wet surfaces filmed up close and sometimes shaken. The sequence then moves to the hikers busy moving among boulders and rocky terrain along the path. Two figures, filmed in backlight on a ridge, stop at the summit, suggesting the reaching of the highest point of the route. The footage concludes with some shots of the slopes and mountain ridges of the area.
