In 1965, Tullio Rigacci filmed images near the Scotoni Hut, in Alta Badia, Dolomites. The camera alternates panoramas of the imposing Dolomite peaks with scenes of the small hikers who walk, play, and move along a stream, immersed in the grassy plain at the foot of Cima Scotoni. The hut, visible in the foreground with the sign “SCOTONI Hütte-Alm / Bar Ristorante”, is surrounded by grassy and scree slopes, offering an evocative view of the mountain and outdoor life.
