In 1983, Don Fornasari filmed a day of fishing and camping at Lago Nero (Black Lake), in the Piacenza Apennines. The footage closely follows the activity of a young fisherman: a man immersed up to his chest in the cold waters of the lake retrieves a newly caught fish with a net, while a companion assists him on the shore, examining the prey among rocks and water splashes.
The sequence alternates between the actions of fishing and glimpses of the mountain landscape, where the base camp is set up next to a small shack and orange tents. In the finale, the camera lingers on animals grazing in the vicinity of the camp, immersed in the tranquility of Lago Nero.
