In 1968, Alberto Bianchi filmed an excursion toward the Rifugio Lago di Nambino, near Madonna di Campiglio, along a wooded path. The images alternate between scenes of his wife and two children walking and close-ups of the landscape, such as a torrent flowing impetuously between boulders and small waterfalls.
The trail then opens up to panoramic views of the valley below, before showing the crossing of wooden and concrete bridges that signal the approaching destination. In the final part, Bianchi and his family arrive at the refuge, recognizable by the sign on the wooden facade, and the film concludes with shots of Lake Nambino and the surrounding mountains.
