Anselmo and his brother Giovanni, sons of the author, are filmed as they get ready to go to school outside the family home located in the city. The father Alfonso’s intention to create a more cinematic scene is perceptible: he actually makes his son climb the stairs even though the school entrance is in the opposite direction.
