Valentina’s first communion, the author’s daughter, celebrated on May 23, 1982, at the Church of Sant’Andrea in Acquaviva. After the ceremony, the family leaves their home at 1 Via Frisoni in Gualdicciolo and heads to lunch at the Rio Re restaurant, now closed, which was located near the border where a CARISP branch now stands.
