The footage shows snow-covered mountains and trees surrounding the valley, with evocative glimpses of people skiing. At that time, Oulx was an emerging winter destination, favored by its location in the heart of the Cottian Alps and the abundant snowfall that characterized the winters of the 1940s, when seasons were colder and snowfalls particularly generous.
