The Emilia-Romagna delegation visits the territores liberated by FRELIMO warriors. In every base, in every place, there is an infirmary. It is a huge effort by FRELIMO to try and educate people to seek help by trained medical personnel and not to the "curandeiros", the tribe shamans who use potion to heal. Reggio Emilia itself was committed over the years to train medical staff and supplying medicines and medical equipment.
