Enrico Chierici, with his fiancée Clara Pezzuto, makes a little journey on the Riviera di Levante, between Chiavari and Santa Margherita Ligure. Here, nearby the harbour of Chiavari, Clara is filmed, daringly, while "climbing" the rocks of the dock. The artifacts on the image, instead, are a trait of cellulose triacetate decay: in advanced stages, in fact, the film base cannot hold the plastifiers anymore, so they migrate toward the surface of the film, blooming in these peculiar crystals.
