Shyly, from the window, the camera leans over to take a look at the steets filling up, both with citizens and allied soldiers now walking with a mood of serenity, despite the martial atmosphere. Trams occupy the tramway, a cart with working tools on it is parked, and a little marionette theatre stands up on as if nothing had changed - although everything has: Rome has just been liberated from Fascism.
